             Hello everybody! Scrapbooking makes me feel great. I've been motivated a great deal since my LOs have been spotlighted at Let's Get Sketchy two weeks in a row. Yay!      Got tons of photos from my vacation in the Philippines last March. It was a tremendously happy time with my children, family and friends. I had a great time with my young adult children having fun like young kids once again. Here is one photo of my youngest son having an amazingly carefree shot on the zip line. I used the sketch of Let's Get Sketchy August Week 4 Challenge .

A Caterpillar and Butterflies

 

        Hello Everyone! It's me again. I created a new page that I titled ' A Caterpillar and butterflies' just for the reason that the photos of my daughter and I were taken from a butterfly farm that we visited last April in the Philippines. I combined the sketch from Scrap This Sketch Challenge for August by Probyte, About A Girl's August 15 Challenge- White Space and with a new blog that I chanced upon, 1-2-3 Get Scrappy August Challenge 1. For 1-2-3 Get Scrappy, I used the butterfly-'Free'- lace line

Hello everyone! Scrapbooking is great, yay! And I'm falling in love with it.

 

I created a new page combining Let's Get Sketchy's  sketch for August Week 3 challenge, About A Boy's August 1, Back to School challenge and Scrappin' Peeps Weekly LO challenge- 8/18- 8/24 by Probyte which is also school related.

 

Here is my page which I titled ' @ 16'. I used the photo of my son taken when he just graduated from high school and about to start in college.

This Is Rare

Hello everyone! This page of mine is new to me, "MY OWN DESIGN". Very challenging yet very inspiring. My very first attempt to explore and try clustering and layering. And it fits perfectly to this week's challenge at LET'S GET SKETCHY - Anything Goes.

I combined this page with JULY INSPIRED BY CHALLENGE#5 by Robyn - she featured Mary's signature using "BOWS" in her pages and AUGUST TOTALLY RANDOM CHALLENGE by Mary Jene - incorporate distressing in a LO at SCRAPPIN' PEEPS.

My LO is titled 'this is RARE' because members of my family are seldom physically together. My Mom lives in Honolulu, Hawaii, I live in Canada and my children live in the Philippines.It was such a wonderfully happy reunion last April, 2013 when my Mom and I went back to the Philippines for a vacation at the same time....
